MTU Wins Order For 232 Diesel Locomotive Engines From China

Rolls-Royce announced Jan. 26 that its MTU division won an order worth an estimated €100 million (US$112 million) from China-based CNR Dalian for 232 MTU “Series 4000” diesel engines that will be installed in freight locomotives for Transnet Freight Rail in South Africa.
