SkyNRG, Statoil Open Norwegian ‘BioPort’

Amsterdam-based SkyNRG recently announced that its joint-venture partnership with Statoil Fuel & Retail Aviation—SkyNRG Nordic—opened its second “BioPort” in the Nordic region with the availability of first commercial quantities of aviation biofuel to Avinor’s Gardemoen airport in Oslo, Norway in 2015.

Irvine, Calif.-based Biosynthetic Technologies recently announced that it received the latest performance standard set by the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) GF-5 for both Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 5W-20 and 5W-30 grade passenger car motor oil (PCMO) formulations using its biosynthetic base oil.
