Total, Suez Team To Collect UCO For Renewable Diesel Production

Total and Suez recently announced they are joining forces to collect and recycle used cooking oil (UCO) in France. As part of their 10-year partnership, Suez will supply 20,000 metric tons of UCO annually to Total. Collected throughout France, the oil will be processed into hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), also known as renewable diesel, at Total’s Le Mède biorefinery.
